PLAYA DEL RACING'S INDYCAR TO BE FEATURED AT ECOTREK EXHIBIT AT SEMA SHOW
Playa Del Racing drivers will sign autographs each day of the SEMA Show
INDIANAPOLIS - One of Playa Del Racing's Indy cars will be a featured attraction at the Specialty Equipment Marketing Association show in Las Vegas from Oct. 30 through Nov. 2. PDR drivers Al Unser III and Maryeve Dufault will sign autographs each day at the EcoTrek booth from 2 p.m. to 3:15 p.m.
The SEMA show is the premier stage for innovative thinking in the automotive aftermarket industry.

"I can't wait to be a part of this event with EcoTrek and Ethos forEARTH," says Al Unser III, driver of the Playa Del Racing/Ethos forEARTH car No.21 in the Indy Pro Series. "SEMA week is a great event, and EcoTrek has some amazing products that show renewable fuels as capable of both superior performance and conservation."

EcoTrek is a non-profit organization that promotes education of and research into the expanded uses of viable renewable energy. PDR will be teaming up with EcoTrek and Ethos Fuel Reformulator to help raise the awareness of the general public about renewable fuel, and environmentally safe products.

"Working with EcoTrek gives us the opportunity to showcase the product that we believe in so deeply at Ethos forEARTH," says Dan Atkinson, CEO of Ethos forEARTH. "The SEMA show is the premier gathering of some of the greatest minds in the automotive and aftermarket industry. We are proud to be a part of it."

PDR is always working to get the word out about renewable energy. Adkins Energy, an ethanol producer located in Lena, Ill., signed as a sponsor with PDR in 2007 to help promote the benefits of ethanol and other renewable fuels.

"Adkins energy is a small town operation with big town ambitions," says Ron Fluegel, board member with Adkins Energy. "We are proud to be a part of Playa Del Racing, and even more proud to be associated with a league that is utilizing 100% ethanol fuel."

The SEMA show will be the first major event of the off-season for PDR, and its drivers.

"We are partnering with EcoTrek, Adkins Energy, and Ethos forEARTH not only because it's a great business opportunity for PDR, but also because these independent organizations are each singularly focused on saving our environment," says Susan Schafer, co-owner of PDR. "Ethos Fuel Reformulator is an amazing product that provides great benefits to those who use it and to our environment, and we are so proud to be associated with Tom Holm and EcoTrek."

EcoTrek is without peer in bringing the message of the benefits of renewable fuels to the American public through its television shows and public appearances. The SEMA show will give PDR a chance to show off its IndyCar Series Panoz chassis with a new green paint scheme and Ethos forEARTH sponsorship. The IndyCar Series is powered by 100% ethanol, which is a renewable fuel made from corn.

"Our goal in bringing our IndyCar to SEMA is to assist EcoTrek and Ethos forEarth to get the message to the world that renewable fuel can provide superior performance while mitigating negative impact on our world." says Gary Sallee, co-owner of PDR. "Our Indy cars can go 225mph at Indy using ethanol, and it's important for Americans to know that their passenger cars can run on ethanol and other renewable fuels as well."

PDR drivers Al Unser III and Maryeve Dufault will be available to sign autographs each day of the convention in the EcoTrek booth located in the South Hall. You can get more information on Playa Del Racing or Al Unser III by visiting playadelracing.com.

Gas Prices Climbing!!!

Did you hear the latest news on gasoline prices? What would you say if I could show you a product made by a publicly traded company that is guaranteed to save consumers up to 19% on their gasoline while reducing emissions up to 30%? The product is just being introduced in our City and I am working directly with the individual that is leading the National Expansion for this company. She is very busy but I told her a little about you and she wants to speak with you. A 10 minute call with her and you will be as excited as I am. What is your schedule later today or I can try and reach her now. This is happening right now!
Crude oil is at record highs and briefly hit $90 a barrel Thursday.
If prices stay high, experts say, expect to start feeling more pain at the pump! A sharp increase in the price of crude oil, which briefly hit $90 a barrel late Thursday in electronic trading, could start to hit consumers in their pocketbooks in the next few weeks. Among the effects:
Prices at the pump, which have been flat for two months, are expected to rise shortly, perhaps by as much as 10 cents a gallon. GasPriceWatch.com reported a rise of 7 cents in the past two days, which increased the national average to $2.80 a gallon.

EthosFR Product Usage

EthosFR Product Usage

Step 1: Get a baseline starting point for your vehicles. If you have a built in computer on your vehicle - don't trust it, our experiences have shown that it may not be accurate when it comes to generating actual miles per gallon -- calculate your mileage directly from the odometer. Don't trust what the manufacturer's sticker tells you.

Start paying attention as soon as you have ordered your product so that you have a baseline as soon as your product arrives. Having a baseline to use in evaluating your results with Ethos FR is critical. Without a true baseline, you cannot gage the percent of improvement accurately. A baseline is established by keeping a record on the amount of fuel you put into your tank and the miles that are driven between fill-ups. Why not get a small notebook to keep in the glove compartment to record your results? Here's how to begin developing your baseline.

  • Fill up your vehicle

  • Note the miles on your odometer.

  • Drive as usual over the next few days or weeks.

  • Refill your tank.

  • Note the miles on your odometer.

  • Determine the number of miles you have driven on that tank by subtracting the first mileage from your current mileage.

  • Next divide the number of miles driven by the amount of fuel you just added to your tank. Example: 235.5 miles driven - divided by 12.886 gallons pumped = 18.275 miles per gallon.

  • City miles are going to be different than highway miles - and you may want to establish a baseline for both.

  • It may take 6 to 8 FULL tanks to start to clean out your system and begin to show a steady level of results.

  • A simpler tracking mechanism can be to simply run your fuel down until your fill up light goes on. Do this several times and you will see your additional mileage.

Step 2: Have a smog/emissions test done on your vehicle especially if you are considering becoming involved with For Earth as a business. Being able to show that you had dramatic reductions in emissions becomes a powerful marketing tool.

Step 3:

  • The first tank of fuel with Ethos FR use 2 oz per 10 gallons of fuel. This is double the normal 'dose". Next tank, and every tank thereafter, use 1 oz per 10 gallons of fuel.

  • Use 1 oz per quart of oil.

  • Then each time you have your oil changed use 1 oz per quart.

  • Many users are finding that after 3 oil changes they can go 2 to 3 times as long -- or even 5 times as long without an oil change

  • To extend the life of your power steering and transmission use a one-time application of 3 oz in each.

In Canada and most other countries, gas is measured in liters rather than gallons. One gallon is equal to 3.78 liters. Therefore the correct usage of Ethos FR is roughly one ounce per every 40 liters of fuel.
