EthosFR Product Usage
Step 1: Get a baseline starting point for your vehicles. If you have a built in computer on your vehicle - don't trust it, our experiences have shown that it may not be accurate when it comes to generating actual miles per gallon -- calculate your mileage directly from the odometer. Don't trust what the manufacturer's sticker tells you.
Start paying attention as soon as you have ordered your product so that you have a baseline as soon as your product arrives. Having a baseline to use in evaluating your results with Ethos FR is critical. Without a true baseline, you cannot gage the percent of improvement accurately. A baseline is established by keeping a record on the amount of fuel you put into your tank and the miles that are driven between fill-ups. Why not get a small notebook to keep in the glove compartment to record your results? Here's how to begin developing your baseline.
Fill up your vehicle
Note the miles on your odometer.
Drive as usual over the next few days or weeks.
Refill your tank.
Note the miles on your odometer.
Determine the number of miles you have driven on that tank by subtracting the first mileage from your current mileage.
Next divide the number of miles driven by the amount of fuel you just added to your tank. Example: 235.5 miles driven - divided by 12.886 gallons pumped = 18.275 miles per gallon.
City miles are going to be different than highway miles - and you may want to establish a baseline for both.
It may take 6 to 8 FULL tanks to start to clean out your system and begin to show a steady level of results.
A simpler tracking mechanism can be to simply run your fuel down until your fill up light goes on. Do this several times and you will see your additional mileage.
Step 2: Have a smog/emissions test done on your vehicle especially if you are considering becoming involved with For Earth as a business. Being able to show that you had dramatic reductions in emissions becomes a powerful marketing tool.
Step 3:
The first tank of fuel with Ethos FR use 2 oz per 10 gallons of fuel. This is double the normal 'dose". Next tank, and every tank thereafter, use 1 oz per 10 gallons of fuel.
Use 1 oz per quart of oil.
Then each time you have your oil changed use 1 oz per quart.
Many users are finding that after 3 oil changes they can go 2 to 3 times as long -- or even 5 times as long without an oil change
To extend the life of your power steering and transmission use a one-time application of 3 oz in each.
In Canada and most other countries, gas is measured in liters rather than gallons. One gallon is equal to 3.78 liters. Therefore the correct usage of Ethos FR is roughly one ounce per every 40 liters of fuel.
